Welcome to the ASA recruitment service for graduates. This service is designed to communicate job opportunities, at all levels of the sector, directly to those ASA members who are interested. As a focused service, it will offer invaluable help to members in establishing and developing their chosen career path. In an industry where the majority of job vacancies are not advertised, being in the right network will prove essential for career development.

The ASA recruitment service enables existing and potential employers of BAgrSc graduates to target their employment vacancies to a highly qualified and experienced pool of professionals and those who have more recently qualified. Currently employers of graduates in both agri-business and the service sector are registering to take part in this service which will initially be offered free of charge to all employers. This service is designed to complement other recruitment methods.

The following are just some of the companies that have already agreed to support this initiative: Teagasc, Kerry Group, Irish Farmers’ Journal, AIB Bank, Bord Bia, Agricultural Consultants Association, IFA, Volac, Lakeland Dairies, ICMSA, FBD Insurance, Dawn Meats, Dairygold, Glanbia, Goldcrop, Alltech and Gouldings.

Once registered, an employer can have their job vacancies listed on the ASA website. ASA will email comprehensive details of the position being offered to ASA MEMBERS only. Applications must be sent directly to the company advertising a vacancy. The ASA does not accept C.V.'s on behalf of applicants.
