ASA welcomes IT Tralee as Full Members
Graduates from B.Sc. (Hons) in Agricultural Science, IT Tralee are now eligible to join as full members of the Agricultural Science Association (ASA) following a recent application.
The ASA was founded in 1942 and with over 1900 members is the representative body of for Agricultural Science graduates in Ireland.
Amii McKeever, ASA President said: “We are delighted to welcome graduates from IT Tralee to the ASA. Building Capability is the theme of my presidency and the ASA are committed to supporting these new members develop their career in the months and years ahead.”
IT Tralee is the fourth university to be eligible for graduates to join as full members. Other eligible universities are UCD, WIT and DkIT. The ASA have drawn up equivalency standards for a level 8 honours degree in agricultural science to ensure the high standard of their members is respected across the industry.
