Our client is a market leading provider of an extensive range of high quality feeds, fertilizers and farm inputs to a large and growing number of Dairy, Beef and Sheep farming customers.
They operate a large scale and technologically advanced manufacturing plant producing the highest quality bulk and bagged products.
As Commercial Manager of this dynamic business, you will report directly to the General Manager and responsible for developing and implementing the strategic commercial plan.
You will manage and develop a team of key personnel to deliver on sales targets and maintain strong relationships with customers.
You will be responsible for Identifying, monitoring and controlling all sales related costs.
Working closely with Quality, IT and NPD teams to retain and enhance standards,
You will help develop new concepts and implement new technologies to improve the effectiveness of the technical sales team.
The Ideal Candidate:
Will have 6+ years’ experience in a senior sales role within a related business sector
Have a 3rd level qualification in Ag Science, Food Science and /or Business.
You will have strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a commercial team.
Will be highly motivated, resilient and organised and thrive in a challenging environment
commercially astute, you will be comfortable analysing financial and numerical data.
