Further to the follow-up and feedback after last year’s tour and based on your suggestions we have decided to venture out of the city and combine something new with something a little more familiar to us in this year’s tour.

Many of you will have noticed the new Kerry Group facility outside Naas and the new exit being built to accommodate access to it but will have no idea what happens there. Kerry Group have been good enough to invite us to visit their facility as part of our 2019 tour and give us a comprehensive overview. This is a fantastic opportunity to visit this global facility and learn about the work that is carried out there.

After spending the morning in Kerry Group the group will spend the afternoon at The National Stud where you will have lunch followed by a guided tour. You will then be at our leisure free to visit The Japanese Gardens and St. Fiachra’s Gardens and the Horse Museum.

Please note numbers are limited for this event.

About Kerry Group, Global Technology & Innovation Centre
The Kerry Group, in 2015 opened this new Global Technology & Innovation Centre on a 28 acre site to serve the Group’s global customers and employs about 1000 people with a wide variety of disciplines and who work on scientific research and innovation in the food, beverage and the pharmaceutical areas. Nutrition and taste through flavour creation using real food and natural processes is a major focus of their work. So hopefully we might get to sample some new taste sensation. It should be interesting for us to see how Kerry Group approach this innovative work and how these developments link with how consumers are continually evolving in their attitudes to and how they choose foods and beverages and what they want out of their diets.

NOTE – PARKING
Parking is limited at Kerry and cars will not be permitted without prior approval. We will assemble in the car park at the National Stud and to then transfer by bus to the Kerry site.
