Territory Sales Manager (Forage Products)

Our client TAMA UAT is a world market leader in netwrap. Due to ongoing expansion they are recruiting an energetic and ambitious Territory Sales Manager for an area north of Dublin to Galway.  
The ideal candidate will have an Agri Sc., Agri Engineering or a related degree with a good knowledge of livestock, crop packaging products and baling machinery.
S(he) will have at least five years commercial sales or Agribusiness development experience
Excellent communication, IT, networking, interpersonal, presentation and time management skills are required for this position.  
Extensive travel will be required to cover your territory and one can expect to be away from home at peak season for one or two nights a week.  
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Report to Sales Manager, manage and develop current account base
• Provide top class technical support to distributors and their customers
• Assist colleagues at all relevant Agri shows in Ireland and abroad
• Support distributors through dual calls, open days/evenings, training etc.
• Assist with building customer and media data base as required
• Work with finance dept. to ensure prompt payment of accounts due.
The successful candidate will work from home and visit the office in Cork as and when required. A full clean driving licence is essential. After a six months probationary period you will be provided with private medical insurance (including dental cover).
You will also have life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection and a contributory pension scheme. A laptop and an executive car will be supplied. Depending on length of service there are 20 to 25 days holidays pa.
