Fergal Morris is the Managing Director of MSD Animal Health in Ireland. Coming from a dairy farm in Tipperary, he qualified with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from University College Dublin in 1995 and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the UCD Smurfit Business School. He worked as a veterinary practitioner in cattle and small animal practice in Ireland and the UK.

Fergal joined MSD in 1998 and worked in various management roles including; veterinary support, sales, marketing and Business Unit Director roles in the UK and Ireland. He was appointed as the Managing Director of MSD Animal Health in Ireland in 2017. In 2019, MSD Animal Health acquired Antelliq, a company that is a global leader in identification and monitoring technology in animals.

Fergal also served as the Chairman of the Animal and Plant Health Association (APHA) from 2017 to 2021.
