Dr. Siobhán Kavanagh was appointed Communications and Engagement Specialist with the Signpost Programme in June 2021.  Siobhán has responsibility for all communications from the Programme including engaging farmers, advisers, educators, the 60 partners to the Programme as well as policy makers, the general public and other stakeholders.

The Signpost Programme is supporting and enabling farmers to adopt the technologies needed to reduce emissions on farm.  Siobhán has extensive experience in this area having worked as specialist and regional manager in Teagasc.  Siobhán was previously Teagasc Regional Manager in the Advisory Service, serving in 2 regions – Wexford, Wicklow, Carlow and Waterford Kilkenny. Previous to that she led the Ruminant Nutrition Specialist Service for Teagasc for 14 years.
