Siobhán Walsh is the Farm Sustainability Specialist at the Irish Farmers’ Journal where she covers economic, environmental and social sustainability. Siobhán leads the Footprints Farmers Programme which works with tillage, dairy, beef and sheep farmers to improve their sustainability.

Siobhán studied animal and crop production in UCD before completing a masters in minimum tillage and straw incorporation and a PhD in soil nitrogen supply to tillage crops at UCD and Teagasc. She is a trained agronomist and farms with her family.
