Chairperson: Sarah McIntosh

Having qualified from UCD in 2021 with a BAgrSc (Hons) (NFQ Level 8) in Food and Agribusiness Management Sarah has an interest and passion for all aspects of Ireland’s Agri-food sector.

She spent eight months working with Agri Aware, the Irish agri-food educational body as an intern during her professional work experience.

Once completing college Sarah started working at the Irish Farmers Journal in 2021. She held the position of Sales Executive on the Commercial Team before taking up her current role in Irish Country Living as Careers and Education Journalist. Over the last two years, she has been involved in podcasts [The Good Room and Young Stock], chairing panels, radio interviews and written several articles across different topics including finance, sport, careers and education.

Sarah is also the graduate entrant on this year’s Agriculture Science Association council.
