Katie Gleeson

Katie Gleeson is dairy farming alongside her husband Phil in County Tipperary, juggling farm life alongside raising three children and studying for a BSc Agricultural Science and Sustainability at TUS/Gurteen. She is a social media content creator, @katieinthecountry, where she shares her family farming journey, and is a regular columnist for the Tipperary Star newspaper.

Katie is also part of Dairy Women Ireland’s North Munster region leadership team, involved in environmental initiatives like the pioneering Community Climate Coaches program and is a Field Exchange creative farming ambassador for 2024/25.
