Episode 16: Michael and Aisling Flanagan
In this episode of Experts in Their Field, ASA President George Ramsbottom talks to Michael and Aisling Flanagan owners of Velvet Cloud, a sheeps yoghurt and cheese manufacturing business outside Claremorris, County Mayo.
Dublin born Aisling and Mayo man Michael graduated with their degrees in Agricultural Science from UCD in 1990. They talk about their careers in the food industry across continental Europe, the move back to Ireland and the return to Michael’s native Mayo. There they established their own flock of milking sheep and the Velvet Cloud business.
