Government Must Not Ignore Increased Demand for Agricultural Education

Press Release - The dramatic increase in demand for agricultural education courses should not be ignored by the government in the budget, according to the President of the Agricultural Science Association (ASA), Dr Frank O’Mara.

Agricultural Students Broaden their Horizons with Work Experience Overseas

A growing number of Ag. students are choosing to undertake their 3rd year work experience overseas. This year, the ASA awarded bursaries to four students to support travel and other costs associated with completing work experience overseas. The bursaries were sponsored by AIB. Having now returned to complete 4th year, we invited them to give us a flavour of their experiences and the benefits both personally and professionally.
